Chelsea took the lead after half-an-hour at Upton Park through a fine left-footed strike from Shaun Wright-Phillips. The Hammers hit back with a great shot from Carlos Tevez. Before SWP scored another great goal volleying in a cross from Wayne Bridge. Kalou got the third for the Blues after slack marking from West Ham. Drogba bagged the fourth and the fans at the Boleyn began to leave with half-an-hour to play.
