The headline fixture of the upcoming gameweek in the Premier League is set to play out in north London, on Saturday evening.

The matchup in question will see Tottenham Hotspur act as hosts, in a meeting with Liverpool.

Both sides, of course, will head into proceedings brimming with confidence, amid stellar respective stretches of form.

Spurs, for their part, are fresh off an impressive North London Derby point at Arsenal, keeping the club’s unbeaten Premier League start very much alive.

Liverpool, though, have looked even more impressive of late, racking up wins in each of their last seven outings across all competitions.

The latest came in midweek, when Jurgen Klopp’s troops booked their spot in the 4th round of the Carabao Cup courtesy of a 3-1 downing of Leicester City.

An enthralling encounter at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, in turn, looks set to be in store.

The matchup will be part of Gameweek 411 on Sorare Football, and 101 Great Goals has broken down the key statistical takeaways ahead of the game.

Tottenham Hotspur vs Liverpool Sorare tips

Tottenham Hotspur

Son Heung-min

Tottenham’s captain extraordinaire, Son is fresh off showcasing once more exactly why new boss Ange Postecoglou opted to name him his squad’s leader upon the departure of Harry Kane during the summer. After seeing his side fall behind twice at The Emirates, the South Korean took the responsibility on his own shoulders, notching a brace to ensure that the North London Derby spoils were shared. This came just two games on from Son opening his account for the campaign courtesy of a hat-trick at Burnley. With a leaky Liverpool backline lying on wait, the 31-year-old will likely fancy his chances of adding to his tally yet further on Saturday.

James Maddison

Whilst it was Son who proved the headline-grabber in the derby last time out, equally decisive was attacking partner in crime James Maddison. The England international is fresh off a scintillating start to life in Tottenham colours, aptly rewarded by way of the Premier League Player of the Month award for August. His two assists at The Emirates took Maddison’s tally for the term to six goal contributions in six appearances, with his Sorare average of 79 points-per-game making the midfield string-puller something of a must-have.

Destiny Udogie

Another summer arrival in England’s capital, Udogie has taken to life in the Premier League like a duck to water. The Italian has featured from the off in all of boss Postecoglou’s first six outings in the dugout, a streak expected to continue against Liverpool. Udogie’s attacking threat adds further to his appeal as a Sorare pick, with his two assists to date a solid return from left-back. A less glamorous, but potentially fruitful addition ahead of the upcoming round of fixtures.

Liverpool

Dominik Szoboszlai

The man of the moment on the red half of Merseyside, Szoboszlai is quickly establishing himself as something of a fan favourite amongst the Liverpool faithful. The summer arrival at Anfield, despite being just 22 years of age, already boasts the look of a seasoned veteran in Jurgen Klopp’s side, with his stunning strike against Leicester City in midweek having only served in reiterating Szoboszlai’s ever-present threat in and around the penalty area. As the Hungarian settles ever further into life in his new surroundings, expect his production in the attacking third to increase, too.

Darwin Nunez

Another fan favourite at Anfield, Darwin Nunez is in the midst of an altogether fruitful stretch in front of goal at present. After failing to find the net in either of his first two appearances of the season, the Uruguayan international has since rattled off six goal contributions in his last six appearances. His place in boss Klopp’s frontline remains far from guaranteed, but what makes Nunez such an appealing asset is that, even when thrown in from the bench, he is always liable to make an impact.

Luis Diaz

In contrast to Nunez before him, attacking partner in crime Diaz has fallen somewhat off the pace of late, after an explosive opening to the campaign. Since netting in each of Liverpool’s first two outings, the Colombian has managed just one in five, in the Europa League against minnows LASK. And yet, we at 101 envision Diaz bursting back into form at any moment, potentially as soon as Saturday evening, against Spurs.
