Match preview
Borussia Mönchengladbach will be searching for another win that could rocket them into the top half of the table when they head on the road to the German capital with Hertha Berlin up next for Daniel Farke’s men.
Gladbach eased past Hoffenheim two weeks ago in a 4-1 win that moved the club into fourth in the table. Now, after drawing 0-0 with Schalke, the club have a great chance to get their season back on track.
Before the weekend’s fixtures, Gladbach are behind wolfsburg in seventh by just three points and adrift of Freiburg in sixth by eight points. What’s more, they have still only won seven and lost seven times in the league so far.
As for Hertha, they are winless in their four games since the World Cup and now sit deep in the bottom three with a place in 17th. Bochum, Wolfsburg, Union Berlin and Eintracht Frankfurt have all beaten them with a combined record of one goal scored and 13 let in.
The Berlin side now sit behind Bochum in 15th by five point and behind Stuttgart in the relegation playoff spot by just two. A win here would be arguably their biggest result of the season.
