Hertha Berlin are looking for a swift return to the win column after their second 4-1 defeat within a month as the men from the capital welcome Mainz to the Olympiastadion where the away side eye up a spot back in Europe.
Hertha lost 4-1 to Bayer Leverkusen last time out, as they also lost by the same scoreline to Borussia Dortmund three weeks ago, although, ironically, the defeated Borussia Monchengladbach by the same scoreline this time last month.
The Berlin outfit are now out of the relegation zone for the first time in many months, as they come into the game with five wins on the board now and a one-point gap on Hoffenheim in 16th.
As for Mainz, they remain in seventh and have closed the gap to four points on Eintracht Frankfurt in sixth after four wins in a row since a loss to Union Berlin.
