Our recommended bet for Tuesday’s clash at Ewood Park comes in the form of a 1-0 Blackburn Rovers victory over Blackpool.

A £10 wager for such an outcome will secure you a return of £65 with Betway.

Match preview

Two sides with altogether different season goals in mind are set to lock horns in a Championship clash at Ewood Park on Tuesday, February Park.

The matchup in question will see Blackburn Rovers act as hosts, in a meeting with Blackpool.

First, let’s take a look at the recent endeavours of the former.

Blackburn, of course, have endured a tough time of things over the course of the last couple of months.

This came owing to a stretch of just one win from eight.

Not only that, but, after navigating the opening 27 rounds of the Championship campaign without a single draw, Jon Dahl Tomasson’s troops were held to a share of the spoils in four consecutive outings from late January into February.

Safe to say, then, that Blackburn’s return to winning ways last time out could not have proven more timely.

After playing host to Swansea City, Daniel Ayala proved himself the hero courtesy of an 89th-minute winner, guiding Rovers back within touching distance of the top-six.

Tuesday’s hosts, though, will not be the only ones heading into the action at Ewood Park with their tails up on the back of the weekend’s round of fixtures.

This comes with Blackpool having also secured what could prove to be an absolutely crucial three-point haul.

The seasiders, for their part, welcomed Stoke City to Bloomfield Road on Saturday afternoon.

And, when all was said and done, despite being utterly dominated when it comes to both possession and shots at goal, Mick McCarthy’s men emerged on the right side of a 1-0 result.

This brought to an end a frankly remarkable stretch of poor form on Blackpool’s part, which had seen them fail to bag all three points from 14 prior attempts.

In turn, it should come as little surprise to hear that the coastal club remain firmly entrenched in the bottom three, albeit in the knowledge that a 2nd victory on the spin on Tuesday could potentially guide them out of the drop zone.

We at 101, though, view as much as altogether unlikely, backing hosts Blackburn to ultimately emerge on the right side of the scoreline come the full-time whistle at Ewood Park.
