Our recommended bet for Friday’s clash at Turf Moor comes in the form of a Burnley victory over Sunderland, featuring goals from both teams.

A £10 wager for such an outcome will secure you a return of £36 with Betway.

Match preview

The Championship campaign is set to kick back into gear at Turf Moor this Friday, March 31st.

The matchup in question will see table-topping Burnley act as hosts, in a meeting with a Sunderland outfit desperate for a return to winning ways.

Beginning with the former, Burnley, of course, have long represented the standout performers in England’s 2nd tier.

Owing to a record of 24 wins and just two defeats, the Clarets currently boast a hefty 13-point advantage at the division’s summit, looking runaway favourites to ultimately seal promotion as champions.

Such efforts, though, were followed by an alarming exit from the FA Cup, courtesy of a six-goal drubbing at the hands of Manchester City.

Burnley, as a result, will head into Friday’s action in Lancashire with sights set on a swift bounce-back result, amid a push to seal their return to the top-flight at the earliest opportunity.

And the Clarets will no doubt be confident in their chances of sealing precisely that, at the expense of a faltering Sunderland.

The Black Cats, for their part, entered the break in the midst of an altogether less productive stretch of form.

In fact, after looking like potential contenders for a promotion playoff berth, Tony Mowbray’s troops have tumbled to the depths of mid-table, owing to just a solitary victory in seven.

Most recently, they did at least manage to bring an end to a run of four defeats in five, in holding high-flying Luton Town to a share of the spoils at the Stadium of Light.

But, in truth, Mowbray and co. finding a way to add to this courtesy of a 2nd positive result on the bounce on Friday looks frankly unlikely.

We at 101 are therefore backing hosts Burnley to ultimately emerge on the right side of the result come the full-time whistle at Turf Moor.
