Burnley have made wholesale changes over the last few months from a three different managers to several key players departing and new young ones being signed.

The Clarets managed to complete the eye-catching appointment of Vincent Kompany.

The 36-year-old now has three years experience of being a manager.

Kompany took charge of RSC Anderlecht back in 2019, initially as player-manager.

Then in 2020, he took on the role full-time at the Belgian club.

Last season, he guided them to a 3rd place finish and into the Belgian Cup final.

He now faces a tricky task in returning Burnley back into the top flight whilst managing the loss of 10 first-team players
