Our recommended bet for Saturday’s clash at the MKM Stadium comes in the form of a Hull City victory and clean sheet against Cardiff City.

A £10 wager for such an outcome will secure you a return of £32.50 with Betway.

Match preview

A Hull City outfit brimming with confidence on the back of a fine result last time out will be hopeful of adding to the woes of struggling Cardiff City side when the two sides lock horns in a Championship clash at the MKM Stadium on Saturday, February 4th.

Beginning with the former, Hull enjoyed a timely return to winning ways in the club’s most recent outing.

Fresh off a draw and two defeats from three – a stretch which saw them sent packing from the FA Cup – the Tigers welcomed Queens Park Rangers to Yorkshire, aware that a victory would see them climb to within a solitary point of their opponents in the Championship table.

And, when all was said and done, this is precisely what Liam Rosenior’s troops managed.

The Tigers, as a result, have put their relegation worries as good as to bed, now sitting a full 11 points clear of the bottom three.

Safe to say, then, that all associated with Hull will no doubt be confident in their chances of kicking on ever closer to mid-table this weekend.

This comes with upcoming opponents Cardiff having endured an altogether less fruitful time of things of late.

The Bluebirds are currently in the thick of what can only be described as a nightmare spell of form, which has seen them fail to secure a single victory since all the way back in November.

Last time out, new boss Sabri Lamouchi was forced to face up to his side’s woes in the final third, as a 2nd successive blank culminated in a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Luton Town.

With a league-worst 21 goals scored across their 29 outings to date, Cardiff, in turn, remain clear of the drop zone by just three points.

And we at 101 do not envision the Welsh giants’ situation improving all that much this weekend, either.

Instead, we are backing hosts Hull to ultimately prove too much for Lamouchi and co, come the full-time whistle at the MKM Stadium on Saturday evening.
