Match preview
Two sides with sights set on a return to winning ways are set to lock horns in a Championship clash at Kenilworth Road this Saturday, April 1st.
The matchup in question will see Luton Town act as hosts, in a meeting with Watford.
First, let’s have a look at the most recent efforts of the former.
Luton, of course, currently find themselves in the thick of the battle for promotion to the top-flight of English football.
This comes in no small part owing to the recent excellence of Rob Edwards’ troops, who have fallen to just a single league defeat since all the way back in mid-January.
And yet, as alluded to above, Luton will head into the weekend’s action eyeing a swift return to winning ways.
This comes after the high-flying Hatters saw a three-game win streak brought to an end in their final outing prior to the international break, courtesy of a draw with struggling Sunderland.

Standing in the way of Luton and as much on Saturday, though, will be a Watford outfit desperate for a victory of their own.
The Hornets currently find themselves on the outside looking in at the promotion playoff battle, quickly running out of time in their bid to reestablish themselves in the top-six.
Such woes come largely as a result of a disappointing recent spell of form, featuring just one win in five, and two in eleven dating back to January.
New boss Chris Wilder’s time in the dugout at Vicarage Road has gotten off to an almost predictably hit-and-miss start, with the tactician’s three fixtures to date having given rise to one win, one draw, and one defeat.
Most recently, a home meeting with bottom-of-the-table Wigan Athletic saw Keinan Davis’ first-half opener only prove enough for a share of the spoils.
Safe to say, then, that an improved showing will be required, should Watford have hopes of turning things around at Kenilworth Road next time out.
We at 101, though, find it difficult to envision as much, instead backing hosts Luton as narrow favourites to ultimately emerge on the right side of the result on Saturday afternoon.
