Bundesliga outfit Eintracht Frankfurt is preparing attempts to defy some of the biggest club’s in European football after Die Adler is primed to extend contract extensions to star duo Daichi Kamada and Evan Ndicka.
Per recent reports in German outlet BILD (relayed by Get German Football News), both of Oliver Glasner’s key senior figures are being tracked by a number of top clubs around the continent, as well as in the Premier League, with the Japanese midfielder and French defender both out of contract in the summer.

Frankfurt has enjoyed credible success in recent seasons after winning the 2021-22 Europa League while reaching the knockout stage of this season’s Champions League and primed for a round of 16 clash with SSC Napoli whilst also sitting fourth in the Bundesliga table at the time of writing.
The Rhine club has justifiable concerns that both Kamada and Ndicka could be on their way out of Germany’s financial capital either during the January transfer window or on free transfers in the summer after Borussia Dortmund, Barcelona, and Tottenham are all eyeing a possible move for the 26-year-old Kamada, while Arsenal and Juventus are keen on the 23-year-old Ndicka.
Despite their recent success and current standing in the Bundesliga, Eintracht sporting director Markus Krösche is willing to increase their wages to make them among the top earners at Deutsche Bank Park commensurate with their vital contributions to the side’s fortunes on the pitch, but such an increase pales in comparison to what the pair can make on the books of other clubs should they choose to depart.
It would be a frustrating yet not unexpected situation should Kamada and Ndicka leave Germany, with most clubs in the Bundesliga unable to financially compete with bigger entities around the continent, with certainly only Bayern Munich and – at a stretch – Borussia Dortmund capable to keep their best and brightest.
