Marco Silva’s high-flying Fulham have been one of the stories of the 2022-23 Premier League season and come into Monday night’s clash with Tottenham Hotspur FC at Craven Cottage with a chance to leapfrog Antonio Conte’s Spurs and wrestle control of fifth place away from the Italian headmaster and his underperforming pupils.

Both sides come into the fixture on the back of losses against Newcastle United and Manchester City respectively, two sides ahead of them in the table, but despite the recent hiccup, Fulham can boast a recent run of four wins on the spin in the League as further evidence that Silva has done wonders during his time along the Thames and has the club playing some of it best football of the Premier League era. A win here would put the club back on proper footing while keeping them as serious contenders to end in the European places come the end of the season; an achievement no one would have ever expected before a ball was kicked in anger in August.

Predicted Fulham XI

Fulham Team News

  • Out: Neeskens Kebano
  • Doubt: Shane Duffy

Marco Silva has been given a relatively clean bill of health over the senior squad as Fulham is set to welcome London rivals Tottenham to Craven Cottage Monday night, with Silva pleased at the recent return of leading goalscorer Aleksandar Mitrović.

There are no other pressing concerns for the Fulham boss coming into the key clash along the Thames, despite the guaranteed absence of Neeskens Kebano and the possible additional unavailability of Shane Duffy who is due to be assessed in the run-up to proceedings, but in no way is expected to feature in the matchday XI.
