Having already met in this season’s competition, Feyenoord and Slavia Praha go head-to-head once again.
Back in the group stages, it was the Dutch club who took top spot, beating Slavia 2-1 at home before a 2-2 draw in the Czech capital.
This is Slavia Prague’s third European quarter-final in just four seasons, getting this far in the Europa League in both 2019 and 2021.
They beat Sevilla, Leicester City, Rangers amongst others before their respective adventures were ended by Chelsea and, last season, Arsenal.
Despite this, this year’s European adventure began catastrophically.
Jindřich Trpišovský’s side side were dumped out of Champions League qualifying by Ferencváros before a Europa League defeat to Legia Warszawa.
Since dropping into the Europa Conference League though, the Slavists have thrived, coming through their group before two emphatic knockout victories.
First, they hammered Fenerbahçe 6-4 on aggregate before a 7-5 victory over LASK that was more comfortable than the scoreline might suggest.
So, Slavia are on the cusp of a first European semi-final for 26 years.
Feyenoord meanwhile are through a first European quarter-final since lifting the UEFA Cup in their own stadium two decades ago.
They were the first Dutch winners of the European Cup in 1970 and UEFA Cup in 1974, so are now looking to add this competition to their array of titles.
Arne Slot’s side began the season in the second qualifying round, overcoming FC Drita, Luzern and Elfsborg, before topping Group F unbeaten.
De club aan de Maas followed that by hammering Partizan in the round of 16, claiming a 5-2 victory in Belgrade before a 3-1 win at home.
That means Feyenoord have won all seven Europa Conference League home games to date, scoring 21 goals in these matches.
In the Eredivisie, they are third, 11 points behind table-toppers Ajax, despite Saturday’s 2-0 victory over Willem II.
Over in the Czech First League, Slavia are one point adrift leaders Viktoria Plzeň after the top two drew 1-1 on Sunday.
Who will claim a first leg advantage at De Kuip?

The hosts are without a few key players, including first-choice goalkeeper Justin Bijlow, meaning Ofir Marciano will deputise.
Philippe Sandler, Lutsharel Geertruida, Lennard Hartjes and Jens Toornstra are also injured while Cole Bassett wasn’t added to the UEFA squad in January.
Their main goal threats will be top-scorer Guus Til and Cyriel Dessers, both of whom have scored six times in this competition so far.
Alireza Jahanbakhsh could come in on the right-wing in place of Reiss Nelson; the Arsenal loanee scored just his second goal for the club against Partizan.
Orkun Kökçü and Bryan Linssen were the scorers when Feyenoord beat Slavia 2-1 in Rotterdam as recently as September.

Slavia Prague have conceded 16 goals in the Europa Conference League so far with only Lincoln Red Imps shipping more.
Their defensive cause won’t be helped by the fact Aiham Ousou and Srđan Plavšić are both suspended after both were sent off away to LASK.
Meanwhile, first-choice left-back Jan Bořil as well as Taras Kacharaba are both injured, leaving Jindřich Trpišovský short of defensive options.
Tomáš Holeš will be key at the back and he could be partnered by Ondřej Kúdela who’s UEFA ban is now over after he racial abused Glen Kamara last season.
Further forward, Petr Ševčík, Lukáš Masopust and Ivan Schranz are all injured.
They can though relay on Nigerian duo Yira Sor and Peter Olayinka for goals.
Sor has scored five times in four Europa Conference League appearances, while Olayinka has scored eight times in Europe for the club.
