Match preview: Peterborough United vs Middlesbrough

Peterborough United climbed off the bottom of the table with a stunning 3-1 win over QPR.

The Posh’s away record has been shocking and the win was just their second on their travels this season.

Grant McCann’s side from behind at Loftus Road to stun the promotion chasers by responding with three goals.

However, they are still only 23rd in the table and are seven points adrift of safety.

Middlesbrough exit FA Cup after Chelsea defeat

Middlesbrough’s Championship schedule was halted by their FA Cup quarter-final tie against Chelsea.

Boro’s impressive run in the competition was brought to an end by Chelsea.

The Blues won 2-0 at the Riverside to reach the last four of the competition.

Chris Wilder’s side will now be fully focused on securing a playoff spot this season.

They are currently 7th in the table, two points off 6th place and have two games in hand over Blackburn.
