While this tournament literally could not have gone any better for England so far, it’s been a complete disaster for their old rivals Germany.

Then, at the weekend, it went from bad to worse for Antonio Di Salvo’s team, beaten 2-1 by Czechia, the winner coming three minutes from time.
So, the only way Germany can sneak through is by winning here and hoping that Israel win by an equal or smaller margin simultaneously.
If Czechia get any sort of result elsewhere, the holders will be eliminated, regardless of their result in this one.
Up against an England side with nothing to play for, Germany are likely to prevail at Batumi Stadium, but this may not be enough.

Lee Carsley would be crazy not to make wholesale changes here, with a quarter-final coming up on Sunday.
Morgan Gibbs-White, Anthony Gordon, Curtis Jones and Ben Johnson are all one yellow card away from suspension, so it would make sense to leave them out wouldn’t it?
Full-back Max Aarons missed the win over Israel due to illness so, if he’s still feeling a bit under the whether, he’ll surely be protected with the weekend in mind.
Aston Villa’s Jacob Ramsey was excellent against Czechia, meaning it was a surprise that he was on the bench on Sunday, so could he be in line for a return?

Youssoufa Moukoko was surprisingly only on the bench three days ago with Jessic Ngankam, the other man to miss a penalty on matchday one, coming in to partner Kevin Schade in attack.
With his team, in all likelihood, going home after this one, expect Antonio Di Salvo to throw to proverbial kitchen sink at England.
