Sheffield United to win and BTTS (5/2)

Saturday’s clash is a must-win for Sheffield United as they look to remain in the top six.

Meanwhile, Fulham’s season is done with promotion and the title already in the bag.

With this in mind and the game being at Bramall Lane, the Blades should be fired up enough to get the win.

Aleksandar Mitrovic first goal scorer (11/2)

Mitrovic will still have the motivation to extend his record for the most goals in a single Championship season on Saturday.

He has five goals in his last four matches.

Match preview: Sheffield United vs Fulham

Sheffield United have a massive afternoon in prospect with their place in the play-offs on the line.

The Blades host the Championship winners Fulham in a game that they will likely need to win.

With Sheffield still having it all to play for and the Cottagers’ season now done, they will be hoping to take full advanatge.

Both Millwall and Middlesbrough are queuing up behind them looking to take their top-six spot.

The Lions are unlikely to catch them due to their inferior goal difference although Middlesbrough are two points behind them with a better goal difference.

Boro travel away to Preston and are expected to take three points, meaning Paul Heckingbottom’s side need to match that result.

Luton Town have dropped below them now although they host Reading and are also expected to take three points.

Therefore, they are very likely going to need to win at Bramall Lane on Saturday to remain in the top six.

Fulham crowned champions

Fulham finally claimed the Championship title with a massive win over Luton Town.

The Cottagers thrashed the Hatters 7-0 with six different goal scorers.

Aleksandar Mitrovic, Tom Cairney, Kenny Tete, Bobby Reid, Fabio Carvalho and Jean Michael Seri all got themselves on the scoresheet.

Mitrovic’s brace also earned him the record for the most Championship goals in a single season as he moved on to 43 goals.

Meanwhile, the Whites also moved on to 106 goals for the season, leaving them 28 goals short of Peterborough’s record for most goals in a single second division campaign.
