A famous European victory for Villarreal, and one that came very much against the odds.
On Wednesday night, Unai Emery’s side travelled to Turin for the second leg of their Champions League round of 16 clash.
However, with the score still goalless, Villarreal were awarded a 78th minute penalty that Gerard Moreno, just about, converted.
Pau Torres then doubled their lead from a corner before Arnaut Danjuma scored a penalty of his own to complete an astonishing 3-0 victory.
Last season’s Europa League winners are therefore through to the Champions League quarter-finals for the first time since 2009, and will face Bayern Munich.
Domestically though, el Submarino Amarillo face a real fight to ensure they’re in Europe again next season.
Last weekend, Dani Parejo got the only goal in a 1-0 home victory over Celta de Vigo.
So, Emery’s team have taken 29 points from the last 39 available but, after a horrendous start, are seventh, two points below the last guaranteed European spot.
Will their excellent form continue here?
Cádiz are the other side in La Liga known as the Yellow Submarine but the colour of the home shirt is pretty much where the similarities end.
In contrast to their visitors, the Pirates are in the relegation zone and need points if they’re to survive in the top-flight.
Last time out, nine days ago, Sergio’s side were beaten 2-1 by Atlético Madrid away, with Álvaro Negredo’s headed equaliser ultimately in vain.
Before this though, Cádiz had taken ten points from seven games, only losing once, so are certainly showing signs of life.
Now, they need wins to climb above that all important dotted line.
Which Submarino Amarillo will win at Estadio Ramón de Carranza?

Álvaro Negredo’s header last weekend was his ninth goal of the season and his 12th in La Liga overall.
He and Choco Lozano will continue to lead the line, chosen over Rubén Sobrino, Lucas Pérez or Florin Andone.

Villarreal have had considerably less rest than their hosts so might have to rotate the team a bit.
The great news is that Gerard Moreno is back, coming off the bench to score against Juventus in his first appearance since 6 February.
Due to Gerard’s injury problems, Arnaut Danjuma has been the main man for goals this season but they could line-up together here.
Étienne Capoue and Dani Parejo are a very solid midfield duo, just behind Giovani Lo Celso who’s shone since arriving on loan from Tottenham.
With Alberto Moreno injured, Pervis Estupiñán could continue to deputise at left-back.
