Likewise, their midfield trio of Darko Brašanac, Lucas Torró and Jon Moncayola is about as good as La Liga has to offer, outside the elite clubs.

Joselu remains Alavés’ main man having scored 12 of their 24 goals in La Liga this season, although he now hasn’t scored in six matches.

Luis Rioja and Edgar Méndez are likely to continue out-wide, looking to supply their main marksman.
