According to Football Insider, Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez is keen to complete a summer move to Chelsea as Mauricio Pochettino ramps up his interest in his fellow countryman.
Martinez scored 28 and assisted 11 in 57 outings this past season and is currently valued at €80m by transfermarket.com.
The report adds that Martinez has let it be known to those close to him that he would be keen to speak to clubs this summer, especially those in the Premier League and is certainly attracted by a potential move to Stamford Bridge.
In terms of a price tag, it is understood a fee in the region of £60m could be enough to secure the World Cup winner’s services.
Chelsea have been without a proper no.9 this past season, with Romelu Lukaku back on loan with Inter Milan.
The Belgian is expected to return to the club this summer and if Lautaro Martinez is signed, the pair could reform their Inter Milan attacking partnership.
