A fresh insight into the plans of the transfer team at AC Milan has been provided late on Friday evening.
This comes after the Rossoneri’s failed pursuit of a prime summer transfer target was confirmed by a host of reliable sources.
The target in question? Marcus Thuram.
For those not aware, the name of attacker Thuram had taken its place front and centre on the red half of the Milanese divide over the course of the last 24 hours.
This came after the French international’s decision to turn down a move to Paris Saint-Germain appeared to have left Milan with a free run at free agent Thuram’s signature.

With a deal widely considered as imminent, however, at the very last, the Rossoneri were beaten to the punch.
And now, as per transfer expert Fabrizio Romano and more, a ‘full verbal agreement’ is in place, between Thuram and the Champions League finalists:
Inter have reached full verbal agreement to sign Marcus Thuram, here we go! Deal in place for salary around €6/6.5m net per season plus signing fee. 🚨⚫️🔵 #Inter

What next, then, for Milan?
Well, it would appear that the Diavolo, under mounting fan pressure owing to the shock sale of beloved midfielder Sandro Tonali, have quickly turned their attentions elsewhere.
In fact, according to Sky Italia journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, the powers that be at San Siro have already identified a further trio of attack-minded targets.
All of Udinese talent Lazar Samardzic, Atletico Madrid frontman Alvaro Morata, and West Ham United’s Gianluca Scamacca, it is understood, are now firmly in Milan’s sights.
