Premier League giants Manchester United are inching towards an agreement over the signing of yet another player currently plying their trade in Serie A, according to reports.

The subject of imminent arrivals from Italy has of course taken its place front and centre in the headlines on the red half of Manchester across the evening to date.

This comes after word was forthcoming that the Old Trafford brass have finally struck a long-awaited deal for Atalanta hitman Rasmus Hojlund.

As per a whole host of sources across the European media, Atalanta have accepted an offer from United, worth a hefty €75 million plus bonuses.

Hojlund’s arrival will mark the 2nd at Old Trafford from Serie A this summer, following Andre Onana’s big-money switch from Inter Milan.

As alluded to above, though, if the latest word doing the rounds on Saturday evening is anything to go by, then the Red Devils are not yet ready to call time on their Italian shopping spree.

Midfielder Amrabat has been hotly tipped to take his talents to the Theatre of Dreams with a view to next season, ahead of the expected departures of both Fred and Donny van de Beek.

And now, it would appear that such a transfer is moving ever nearer, with the Moroccan international having already agreed to the terms of a four-year contract worth €4 million-per-season.
