The player in question in Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
Milinkovic-Savic joined current team Lazio in 2015 from Belgian outfit Genk for €12m.
He has since featured over 300 times for the Italian outfit. In said games, he has scored 66 goals and provided 59 assists, including 8 goals and 8 assists so far this term.
Both Arsenal and Manchester United have been tipped to move for the Serbian this summer and now, his agent has spoken out on a move.
Mateja Kezman, the former Chelsea striker now serving as Milinkovic-Savic’s agent, has insisted that his future will not be discussed until the end of the season:
“We’ve spoken many times with the president, deciding that we’ll discuss everything at the end of the season, especially now that Lazio need peace,” Kezman told Il Corriere dello Sport, via Football Italia.
“Somebody is using harsh words to discuss Milinkovic and his form – they are enemies of Lazio,” he added. “It’s shameful that somebody is trying to cause problems and weaken the team.”
