Ah-Ahli is said to be looking to reach an agreement as soon as possible ahead of the upcoming league campaign that is set to begin on 11 August when the club kicks off its campaign against Al-Hazm.
Jaissle has built a strong reputation for himself over the last two seasons in Salzburg at Red Bull Arena, guiding the Austrian giants to two league wins as well as a 2021-21 UNIQA ÖFB Cup cup win.
Under his tenure, Salzburg has seen the progression of a cadre of bright young talents, including Karim Adeyemi, Brenden Aaronson, Noah Okafor, Benjamin Šeško, and Nicolas Seiwald.
The German manager would have access to considerable talent at King Abdullah Sports City should he decide to leave Austria, with Al-Ahli having brought in Roberto Firmino, Riyad Mahrez, and Édouard Mendy during the summer window.
