Ajax star Mohammed Kudus prefers a move to Arsenal over Chelsea this summer should both sides make a move for the Ghanaian, it has been reported.
The 22-year-old is widely expected to depart Amsterdam this summer, and had been in talks with Brighton over a move to the Premier League earlier in the summer.
Available for a fee of around £40m, he is an attractive option for plenty of clubs and is able to play a variety of positions across midfield and attack.

Chelsea are thought to be leading the race as things stand, but Arsenal are also keen to make a move for Kudus should they be able to make space in their squad through departures.
The Blues are in dialogue over personal terms with the versatile star, and though it is thought that an agreement will be possible, Football Transfers claim that should the Gunners make a move, it would be north London rather than west London that Kudus would prefer to move to.
The Ghana star has ‘a strong preference’ for Mikel Arteta’s side over Chelsea, and this is because ‘Champions League football is a prominent aspect in his decision’, something which Arsenal can offer, while the Blues have no European football to look forward to next season.
They are also looking to add a striker, but the performances of Nicolas Jackson have raised confidence that he will be able to slot into Mauricio Pochettino’s system earlier than anticipated.
