After a fantastic win on the road, Toulouse are back at Stadium TFC this Wednesday to play hosts to Troyes as both sides eye up a spot inside the top half in 2023 with seven points now keeping the two apart in Ligue 1.
Toulouse managed to open up this seven-point gap with a 2-1 victory away to Strasbourg. It now keeps them 11 points above the relegation zone in their first season back in the top flight for two years.
Thijs Dallinga was the hero last time out for Toulouse, as he scored a goal in either half in a comeback win for Philippe Montanier. His side, however, do sit two points behind Nice in 10th but they can jump into the top half of the table if other results go their way.
As for Troyes, they are just above the bottom four by four points. The club have, however, managed to move on from the 5-1 demolition by Lille as they got a point against second-placed Lens.
Troyes did lead for much of the game before an equaliser two minutes from time, and it does mean Patrick Kisnorbo’s side have won just one game since the World Cup when they beat Strasbourg 3-2 away from home.
