The Roshn Saudi League could once again be about to prize one of the continent’s brightest this summer after giants Al-Hilal are closing in on a deal for star Sevilla goalkeeper Yassine Bounou.
Per Fabrizio Romano, the Saudi giants are closing in on the Moroccan international, with final details said to be on the table with Sevilla set to receive a fee in the region of €18m-€19m.

Bounou was recently linked to both Real Madrid and Bayern Munich on account of injury concerns in both camps surrounding Thibaut Courtois and Manuel Neuer.
Courtois is set to miss the entirety of the 2023-24 season after suffering a serious ACL injury, while Neuer has still not recovered from his knee injury during a ski vacation in the immediate aftermath of Germany being unceremoniously dumped out of the 2022 World Cup during the group stage.
The 32-year-old has been a leading light in Andalusia at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán since his full arrival in the summer of 2020, helping the Spanish outfit to two Europa League wins in 2019-20 and 2022-23 respectively.
But perhaps Bounou’s shining moment was being one of the star performers in Qatar during Morocco’s magical run to the World Cup semi-finals, which included superb outings against Croatia, Belgium, Spain, and Portugal.
