The future of Leicester City midfielder Youri Tielemans has been cast into doubt over the last several months.
This comes with the Belgian out of contract in 2023 and seemingly not eager to put pen to paper on a fresh deal.
Reports earlier this year claimed that Arsenal have identified the 25-year-old as one of their top targets, with Tielemans’ lack of a new deal sparking interest from several clubs, including Arsenal.
Arteta was also said to be eyeing a left-footed midfielder who can operate as an eight on the left of a three, which Tielemans can.
But with just over a day of the summer window left, Arsenal had not made their move.
However, that may have changed on Wednesday morning. This comes with journalist Pete O’Rourke reporting that Leicester City have received a bid of around £19m for Youri Tielemans from a mystery club:

The Gunners’ interest in Tielemans is well-documented at this point and they have had some injury issues in midfield this week, whilst Liverpool have begun to scramble for a new central midfielder in the last week following a very poor start to the season.
The Reds have already seen Ruben Neves, Jude Bellingham and Moise Caicedo slip through their fingers, so there is a chance they have gone in for Tielemans.
