Match preview

Just four days on from their clash at BMO Field, FC Cincinnati and Toronto FC meet again, this time reconvening in Ohio.

Their encounter on Saturday actually produced a shock 2-1 victory for the Orange and Blue in Ontario.

Ian Murphy fired home Cincinnati’s opener just before half time, with Luciano Acosta’s cleaver finishing making it two moments after the interval.

For FC Cincinnati, this ended a run of four straight games without a victory and lifts Pat Noonan’s team up to 11th in the Eastern Conference.

Toronto meanwhile have now lost back-to-back games, following a thrilling 5-4 reverse against champions New York City in Queens a week earlier.

Prior to this, Bob Bradley’s men had found some form, amassing ten points from 12 available.

So, the Reds are above the play-off line, but will desperately want to get back on track here.

Will the sequel be as good as the original as Cincinnati and TFC meet again at TQL Stadium?
