The representative of Liverpool head coach Jurgen Klopp has, on Friday, spoken out over suggestions that his client could take up the reins of the German national team.

The subject of Die Mannschaft’s bench, of course, has taken its place front and centre in the headlines over the course of the last 24 hours.

This comes after Germany were sent packing from the World Cup at the group stage for the 2nd time in succession.

A 4-2 final day victory over Costa Rica ultimately proved little more than a consolation, after the 2014 world champions pieced together just a solitary point from their first two outings in Qatar.

Hansi Flick, in turn, has seen his position in the German dugout altogether understandably called into question.

One potential replacement for Flick swiftly touted in the German media, meanwhile, comes in the form of the aforementioned Jurgen Klopp.

Such a move, however, will not be forthcoming any time soon.

This comes after the 55-year-old’s agent moved to shut down any and all speculation linking him with an Anfield exit.

Speaking to Sky Sport Germany on Friday, Marc Kosicke assured that Klopp ‘intends to fulfill the contract with Liverpool’, through the summer of 2026.
