Saudi side Al-Ittihad are preparing a massive offer in an attempt to sign Mohamed Salah in the final week of the transfer window, hoping that they can persuade the Egyptian attacker to change his mind over an Anfield stay.
Salah has been on the list of targets for Saudi Arabia’s spending spree all summer, but has so far resisted a move, though teammates Jordan Henderson and Fabinho have both headed to the middle east.
Earlier in the summer, Salah’s agent Remy Abbas shut down departure rumours, taking to Twitter to explain:
“If we considered leaving LFC this year, we wouldn’t have renewed the contract last summer. Mohamed remains committed to LFC.”

However, that is not going to stop Saudi Arabian sides from continuing to try and lure him away from Anfield, something that Liverpool will be braced for given that the transfer window for Saudi sides closes almost three weeks after the Premier League window.
As per Sports Zone, it is a deal that is heating up, and ‘while the player saw himself joining the club in 2024, progress has been made to bring the deadline forward to this summer.’
Any deal would be worth in excess of £100m, and would allow Salah to reunite with Fabinho, who also joined Al-Ittihad earlier in the transfer window.
Though unlikely with just a week left of the transfer window, Salah’s value is only going to drop going forwards, and FSG may decide that the offer is too good to turn down.
