Saudi Arabian giants Al-Nassr are closing in on signing Manchester United defender Alex Telles this summer, it has been reported, with the Brazilian free to leave Old Trafford ahead of the new season.
The left-back, who was signed by Ole Gunnar Solskjear for a fee of £15m in 2020, has not featured for the Red Devils under Erik ten Hag, and spent last season out on loan with Spanish side Sevilla, where he appeared 38 times.
Though playing just 5 minutes of the Europa League tie between the two sides (which Sevilla won 5-2), he played 95 minutes in the final as he helped his side lift the title after beating Roma on penalties.

However, the 30-year-old’s career at Manchester United was over before it had a chance to begin, with Ten Hag signing Tyrell Malacia last summer in a clear demonstration that he had no faith in Telles.
Now, he is set to depart Old Trafford permanently after exactly 50 appearances for the Red Devils, and appears set to join fellow ex-Manchester United man Cristiano Ronaldo in Saudi Arabia, with Al-Nassr closing in on an agreement.
As per Fabrizio Romano, there is a ‘verbal agreement’ in place, with the clubs ‘waiting for the documents’ in a move that will see him join his former teammate in the middle-east.
