The player in question is FC Midtjylland winger Gustav Isaksen. Newcastle and West Ham also keeping tabs on the youngster.
The report claims that AC Milan, Arsenal, Newcastle, and West Ham are all interested in signing Isaksen and that Midtjylland will reportedly demand in the region of €20m for the youngster.
Should Isaksen indeed sign for Arsenal, he would be the latest in the long line of top youngsters to make the switch to Arsenal.
The Gunners have recruited multiple young players in the last few years, and Arteta has also shown faith in his current crop of up and coming players, giving the likes of Gabriel Martinelli and William Saliba an extended run in the team.
Who is Gustav Isaksen?
Isaksen is a product of FC Midtjylland’s youth system and has spent his entire career on their books so far.
And despite being 21, he has already notched 114 outings for their senior side.
The winger, who can play on either flank, has scored four and assisted four in the league as well as netting three in five in the Europa League.
Isaksen is currently under contract with Midtjylland until 2024.
