As per SportItalia, Arsenal are a team to watch out for in the race to sign Nico Williams this summer.

It is added that the Athletic Bilbao attacker is apparently strongly appreciated by the higher-ups at the Emirates.

The 20-year-old winger has a contract with the Spanish club until the summer of 2024. As a result, the player will have just one year left on his contract come the end of this month, and the Gunners will likely believe that they can sign him for a reasonable price as a result of this.

At the 2022 World Cup, Williams was the second-fastest player at the tournament, clocking a top speed of 35.6 km/ph, which is even faster than any speed clocked by some of the fastest players in world football, including Vinicius Jr.

Williams can operate on both flanks and scored nine and assisted six in all competitions during the 2022/23 season.

Williams would make a great backup to Bukayo Saka in Arsenal’s side, whilst also being able to provide cover for Gabriel Martinelli, which would allow Leandro Trossard to be used in a more central role, where he has racked up a number of assists over the last six months.
