According to Turkish Football, Arsenal have contacted the representatives of Fenerbahce playmaker Arda Guler regarding a potential summer transfer.
It is claimed that Newcastle United are also interested in Guler, who has established himself as one of the brightest young players in Turkey over the last couple of years.
No potential transfer fee is mentioned for the 18-year-old, who is currently under contract until 2025.
Guler is a product of Fenerbache’s youth system and has already notched 49 appearances for their senior side.
33 of those outings came in the 2022/23 campaign, where he scored six goals and provided six assists.
Guler is an attacking midfielder by trade, so if he signed for Arsenal, he could provide some cover for Martin Odegaard, though Fabio Vieira also does that at present.
