Arsenal’s transfer news has been fairly thin on the ground over the last week or two. However, two major updates have emerged on the Arsenal front on Monday.
First up, it has been reported that the Gunners will make a move for Leicester City’s Youri Tielemans in the next week, with Sandro Tonali and Moises Caicedo amongst their alternative targets:
🇧🇪🔴🏴 Youri #Tielemans stay in #Arsenal’s target lists, ready to make a second bid next week for #LCFC midfielder. As announced yesterday, #Arteta valid the profile & next week will be decisive.
More options for #AFC board: Sandro #Tonali, Moises #Caicedo.

Elsewhere, David Ornstein has reported that negotiations between Arsenal and Nice over a loan move for Nicolas Pepe provide the north London club with a potential opportunity to sign a new winger before the transfer market closes. Though an addition will only be made if Arsenal can afford it and think it is going to improve their options.
The main target to fill the role left by Pepe is currently Wolves’ Pedro Neto. The north Londoners have been in talks with Wolves for more than a month.
However, it is not all good news for Arsenal, though, as it is added that Wolves do not plan to sell the 22-year-old this summer. Neto extended his contract in March, committing him until 2027 and it is not known how much it would take for his current team to part with the winger.
🚨 Arsenal transfer priority is Pedro Neto. Discussions for over a month – #AFC to Jorge Mendes, Mendes to Wolves. #WWFC don’t plan to sell 22yo winger yet + Arsenal can’t spend excessively so deal not easy. But interest concrete & unanimous @TheAthleticUK https://t.co/ejcYbCVmfv
