As per the Daily Mail, Santos striker Marcos Leonardo is attracting attention from multiple Premier League clubs after impressing for Brazil’s Under-20s.
Manchester United, Arsenal, Newcastle and West Ham have all watched Leonardo over the past year and Santos are expecting bids in the coming days as his profile rises.
Leonardo has been compared to former Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero in style, as though he is not the biggest, he is strong, can finish off either foot, is quick and skilful.
No potential transfer fee is mentioned in the report but with the player under contract until 2026, he is bound to garner a tidy fee if a number of big clubs come knocking.
Leonardo has scored 42 goals and provided 10 assists in 141 outings for current side, Santos.
He has also scored four goals in four outings for Brazil at the under-20 World Cup.
