Arsenal are expressing an interest in the signature of a headline member of the attacking setup at Premier League rivals Chelsea, according to reports.
The Blues star in the sights of Mikel Arteta’s side? Kai Havertz.
The subject of Havertz’s future has of course taken its place front and centre in the media headlines over the course of the last week.
This comes amid mounting speculation that the German could be on the move ahead of next season.
On the back of Karim Benzema’s departure from Real Madrid, Havertz, it is understood, has been identified as a leading target to replace the Ballon d’Or holder by the powers that be at the Santiago Bernabeu.

As alluded to above, though, Los Blancos, it would appear, are not the only ones of the opinion that a fresh start could kick the 24-year-old’s stuttering career back into life.
To this point, however, the Gunners, like Real Madrid, have been put off by Chelsea’s asking price.
This comes with the west Londoners understood to be seeking a fee in the region of £70 million to part with a player once considered one of world football’s finest up-and-coming talents.
