According to Football Insider, Newcastle United will soon make a bid for Arsenal’s Kieran Tierney.
The outlet also suggest that the player is keen on the move, and the end of June will be decisive as far as any bids are concerned.
Kieran Tierney’s future at the Emirates has been called into question following the arrival of Oleksandr Zinchenko and the Scotsman will need to be replaced if he is sold in the summer.
Tierney played a decent number of games this past season but is only really used if Zinchenko is injured, as he was at the back end of the campaign. And in a number of those games, Arsenal looked much worse and failed to pick up a win, suggesting Tierney should be replaced as the Gunners look to push on from their 2nd place Premier League finish.
No potential transfer fee has been mentioned in the report from FI, but a figure of £35m has previously been floated.
In terms of a replacement for Tierney, Manchester City’s Joao Cancelo has been linked with an Emirates switch after falling out of favour under Pep Guardiola.
