Arsenal are reportedly ‘preparing’ a double raid on La Liga outfit Real Sociedad ahead of next season’s return to the Champions League.
With Arsenal set to secure a top-four berth for the first time in several years, signing some more quality depth in the summer does make sense.
Now, Spanish outlet Fichajes are reporting that Arsenal are ‘preparing a €120m double whammy in Spain’.
The report claims Arteta’s side have ‘set their sights’ on Real Sociedad duo Robin Le Normand and Martin Zubimendi.
Le Normand continues to grow into one of Sociedad’s best players but the Spanish outfit will only let him leave if his €60m release clause is met.
Signing the Frenchman would add some much better quality to their backline instead of having to rely on Rob Holding as they have done in recent weeks.
Whether or not Real Sociedad are willing to part with two top stars in one window remains to be seen, but either player would improve Arsenal’s squad for the 2023/24 campaign.
