Manchester United star Antony has taken to social media, to send a message to teammate Cristiano Ronaldo.

Erik ten Hag’s troops marked their return to action a short time ago.

After recovering from a 6-3 Manchester Derby drubbing courtesy of a three-point haul in the Europa League in midweek, the Red Devils turned their attentions back towards matters on the domestic front, eyeing a 2nd win on the spin, in a meeting with Everton.

And, when all was said and done, this is precisely what Sunday evening’s visitors to Goodison Park managed.

Despite falling behind early on, strikes on the part of Antony and, on the stroke of the interval, Cristiano Ronaldo, ensured that United emerged on the right side of an exciting three-goal affair.

For those not aware, Ronaldo’s latest goal, his first of the Premier League season, marked an altogether memorable one for the Portuguese, in the form of the 700th of his club career to date.

Taking to his official Twitter account late this evening, Brazilian international Antony, who too made history on Sunday, wrote:

‘What an honor for me!! Congratulations, Cristiano.’

‘Another great brand in a career full of accomplishments and achievements!! May we enjoy this even more together!’
