The player in question is Kieran Tierney.
According to Football Insider, Kieran Tierney’s Arsenal future will be decided this week as the left-back is set for talks with Gunners boss, Mikel Arteta.
The conversation with Arteta is set to happen before the end of the week and it will determine whether the Scotland international will be staying at the Emirates next season or not.
Kieran Tierney’s future at the Emirates was called into question following the arrival of Oleksandr Zinchenko from Manchester City.
Tierney played a decent number of games this past season but is only really used if Zinchenko is injured, as he was at the back end of the campaign. And in a number of those games, Arsenal have looked much worse and failed to pick up a win, suggesting Tierney should be replaced.
However, as Arsenal have already spent big on Declan Rice, Kai Havertz and Jurrin Timber this summer, they may not have much of a budget left to sign a replacement for Tierney.
