Arsenal have been handed a massive boost as Bukayo Saka is expected to sign his new Gunners deal before the end of the current season, it has been reported.

The Arsenal and England winger has been in excellent form this season, racking up 13 goals and 11 assists in the Premier League, while he has started all but one game for the Gunners in their title push.

His contribution has been a major reason that the club find themselves challenging Manchester City for the Premier League crown, though they must now rely on their rivals to drop points in two of their last four games to have any hope of lifting a first title since 2004.

Despite Saka’s current deal in north London due to expire in just over a year, there has been little concern among the Arsenal fanbase, with consistent suggestions that the 21-year-old is happy at the Emirates and Saka himself admitting that he “shared confidence” with Gunners boss Mikel Arteta that a new contract could be thrashed out.

Now, the Independent report that a new deal is expected to be announced before the end of the current season, claiming that ‘an agreement has all-but been reached’ and that it will be announced sometime before Arsenal play Wolves on the final day of the season.

‘It is believed promotional footage to be released alongside the announcement has already been completed and it is a matter or working through the finer details before the deal is finalised’, they add.

They are expected to agree a new deal for William Saliba too, with the impressive Frenchman having become a key part of the Arsenal defence but also out of contract in 2025 as things stand.
