The man in question is Jadon Sancho, who has had a dismal stint in England since signing for Manchester United from Borussia Dortmund in 2021.
Sancho has scored just 12 goals and provided six assists in 79 outings across all competitions for Manchester United.
In comparison, the winger netted 16 and assisted 20 in 38 games during his final season in Germany with BVB.
The 23-year-old still has plenty of time to regain form, but it does not look as though Manchester United is the club he will do it at.
In something of a surprise twist, Europa Conference League-bound Aston Villa have been tipped to make a move for the Englishman.
According to Football Transfers, the Red Devils are demanding £60m for Sancho’s services, though Villa are unwilling to pay that at present.
Sancho joining Aston Villa would be a huge statement of intent from the club and the move could be a good one for the winger, as there is a lot of pressure on him at Manchester United, whereas there will be less eyes on him should Sancho make the move to the Midlands.
