Premier League outfit Aston Villa have sealed a big-money deal for a fresh addition to the club’s attacking ranks, according to reports.

The player primed for an imminent move to Villa Park? Ismaila Sarr.

As per a report from French journalist Santi Aouna, since backed elsewhere in the media, a ‘verbal agreement’ has been reached, between the respective boards at Villa and Watford.

The accord in question surrounds a €28 million deal, backed by a 15% sell-on clause, to send Sarr to the former.

The Claret and Blue will now enter into negotiations with the explosive winger himself, in an attempt to thrash out an agreement on the terms of a contract.

It is noted, though, that Crystal Palace, also tipped as a potential landing spot for Sarr of late, remain in the frame.

Sarr, for his part, is fresh off a strong start to the new campaign.

Across a trio of Championship appearances, Watford’s star man has notched a goal and an assist, the former of which came in the form of an early Goal of the Season contender during a meeting with West Brom.
