Premier League giants Arsenal have, on Saturday, been dealt a fresh blow on the personnel front.

The last 48 hours, of course, have proven of a concerning nature for all on the red half of north London.

This comes after word was forthcoming that star midfielder Thomas Partey had been forced into a premature departure from international duty with Ghana, owing to a niggling knee issue.

Just a week out from the latest edition of the North London Derby, another key member of his squad too being forced onto the sidelines was therefore the last thing which Mikel Arteta needed.

As alluded to above, though, on Saturday, this is precisely what Arsenal’s boss has been left to contend with.

The latest player set for a potential spell out of action? Kieran Tierney.

Late in the first-half, and with his side trailing by a goal to nil, though, the former Celtic man was forced into a premature departure.

This came owing to a nasty head injury, the extent of which is set to determine whether or not Tierney is deemed fit to play his part in next weekend’s showdown between Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.
