Bayern Munich director Hasan Salihamidzic has, on Sunday, spoken out over ongoing speculation linking Leroy Sane with a move to Manchester United.
Surprise reports pointing towards a potential return to Manchester for former City wide-man Sane have of course begun to sprout up across the media over the course of the last couple of weeks.
This comes with Erik ten Hag’s United on the lookout for reinforcements out wide, and Sane’s place in Bayern’s starting XI having been thrown into further doubt owing to the arrival of Sadio Mane.
With the Red Devils’ Premier League campaign having gotten up and running in disastrous fashion on Sunday, it therefore came as little surprise when the subject of a potential Old Trafford switch for Sane was put to the aforementioned Salihamidzic.
For those not aware, United slipped to a 2-1 opening day defeat at the hands of Brighton this afternoon.

The Red Devils’ cause in 2022/23, though, will not be aided by Sane’s arrival, it would seem.
