Another of European football’s heavyweight clubs are ready to hijack German champions Bayern Munich’s ongoing move for Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane, according to reports.

The outfit in question? Paris Saint-Germain.

The name of frontman Kane has of course taken its place front and centre in the media headlines in north London once more across the summer to date.

This comes amid widespread reports that this past season may well represent the 29-year-old’s last with his long-time club.

To this point, the aforementioned Bayern have been hotly tipped as a potential landing spot, with Kane himself understood to be keen on the prospect of a move to the Allianz Arena.

A fresh round of discussions between the respective boards in north London and Bavaria, in turn, were held on Thursday evening.

This comes amid claims that the aforementioned PSG have joined the race for the England international.

As per Miguel Delaney of The Independent:

‘Paris Saint-Germain are attempting to hijack Bayern Munich’s bid for Harry Kane, having been given renewed encouragement the Tottenham Hotspur striker would play abroad.’

The powers that be in France’s capital are known to be on the lookout for a marquee attacking signing with a view to next season, owing to both Lionel Messi’s departure, and the ongoing speculation surrounding talisman Kylian Mbappe.

Encouraged by the progress made by Bayern in their own efforts to lure Kane away from the Premier League, PSG, in turn, are ready to go all in on Kane’s signature this summer.
