Slovenian starlet Benjamin Šeško has been one of the most talked-about young talents in Europe over the last two seasons after his emergence at Austrian giants Red Bull Salzburg. But as an expected summer transfer domino involving center-forwards is expected to fall, the 20-year-old will reportedly not be involved.
The Radeče-born striker has been billed as the next Erling Haaland after similarly bubbling to the surface at Red Bull Arena, which culminated in 16 goals across the 2022-23 league campaign and a summer move to the Bundesliga.
Many questions about Benjamin Šeško in the strikers domino… but there’s no chance. ⛔️🇸🇮
Šeško has just joined RB Leipzig from Salzburg and won’t leave the club, it would take an astronomical bid to change the plans.

But as reported by football insider Fabrizio Romano, Šeško’s immediate future is not under the microscope this summer after only just arriving at RB Leipzig in the wake of a previously agreed deal between the two Red Bull clubs on 9 August 2022 when RBL announced that Šeško completes a €24m move in the summer of 2023.
Šeško, who is on a five-year contract with the Saxon outfit and has already begun to settle under manager Marco Rose, continues to have suitors across Europe, with the likes of Manchester United having previously been linked with interest in the Slovenian. But as things stand, there is no pathway to a move away from RBL in the near future.
