Arsenal are one of several clubs monitoring Borussia Dortmund and England talent Jamie Bynoe-Gittens as the teenager follows in the footsteps of Jude Bellingham and Jadon Sancho in the Bundesliga.

The Gunners have been looking for a long-term option to provide cover for Gabriel Martinelli for some time, and pushed hard for Mykhaiylo Mudryk last January before he eventually joined Chelsea, instead opting to sign Leandro Trossard from Brighton.

They remain strongly linked with wide options though, and Mikel Arteta’s side have seen their name thrown into the hat for Pedro Neto, Antonio Nusa and others since the season began.

Now, Spanish outlet Fichajes report that Bynoe Gittens is another catching Arsenal’s eye, with the 19-year-old coming off the bench for the final minutes of their most recent Champions League outing, a 2-0 defeat to Paris Saint Germain.

An ex-Manchester City youth product who made the move to Dortmund in a bid to make a name for himself, the teenage left-winger has unsurprisingly drawn comparisons to Jadon Sancho, who trod the same path before his £70m move back to Manchester.

They add that though Dortmund are not keen to sell the youngster just yet, Arsenal could be ‘preparing a tempting offer that would be around €30 million’ (£26m) in a bid to land the young Englishman before he shoots to stardom as Sancho and Jude Bellingham have before him.
