Premier League outfit Brentford have reached a big-money agreement for the signing of a key member of the defensive setup at Wolverhampton Wanderers, according to reports.
The player primed to make the move to west London? Nathan Collins.
For those not aware, stopper Collins only made the move to Molineux last summer.
On the back of a fine season with Burnley, Wolves swooped in decisive fashion, taking advantage of the Clarets’ relegation to strike a £20 million deal.
Less than 12 months on, though, the Republic of Ireland international, it would appear, is on the move once more.
This comes amid an ongoing defensive clearout on the part of Julen Lopetegui, which has already seen ex-Wolves captain Conor Coady make the move to Leicester City.
‘Brentford have agreed a £23m deal for Wolves centre-back Nathan Collins.’
The powers that be at the Gtech Community Stadium are understood to have identified the centre-back department as being in serious need of reinforcement this summer, with Collins having long emerged as a prime target.
The 22-year-old, in turn, will make the trip to England’s capital over the coming days, before putting pen to paper on terms with his 4th club in four years.
