Arsenal are reportedly one of four clubs that have tabled a serious offer for 17 year old sensation Arda Guler, who currently plies his trade with Fenerbahce.
The Gunners are looking to strengthen their side for future seasons, having already signed Brazilian unknown Marquinhos in the summer, and reportedly have the 17-year-old on their radar, who has been likened to Lionel Messi previously.
Guler was handed his debut at the beginning of last season, during a Europa League qualifying match against HJK Helsinki, and went on to feature 16 times in all competitions, grabbing three goals and five assists in just 373 minutes of football.
So far this season, the left-footed attacking midfielder has made five Super Lig appearances, scoring twice, while his form also saw him make his debut for Turkey over the World Cup break, playing 22 minutes in a 2-1 win over the Czech Republic.

And, according to Turkish press, Mikel Arteta’s side are one of four clubs that have made a ‘serious offer’ for the youngster as they look to add yet another left footed option in midfield.
They face competition, however. Paris Saint Germain, Borussia Dortmund and Ajax are all also thought to be keen on the creator, and Guler’s personal preference is to join Ajax if the possibility arises, because he ‘thinks he can develop more easily’ at the Dutch side than any other.
